Pursuant to an announcement from the House floor on May 14, 2007, and being granted permission to meet while the House is in session pending receipt of Senate messages and reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Natural Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Puente, at 6:30 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Puente; Hamilton; Guillen; Hilderbran; O'Day (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Gattis; Creighton; Gallego; Laubenberg (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

SB 1341

 

The chair laid out SB 1341.

 

The chair offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Hilderbran moved that SB 1341, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Puente; Hamilton; Guillen; Hilderbran; O'Day (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Gattis; Creighton; Gallego; Laubenberg  (4).
