Pursuant to a notice posted on March 18, 2008 and revised March 25, 2008, the House Committee on Local Government Ways & Means met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hill, at 10:05 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Hill; Quintanilla (2).
Absent: Representatives Creighton; Elkins; Howard, Charlie; Villarreal (4).
A quorum was not present. The chair decided, without objection, to proceed with the hearing out of respect to the witnesses and other members.
The chair laid out the questions regarding ecolabs.
