Pursuant to a notice posted on May 1, 2007, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Howard, Charlie, at 8:50 p.m.

 

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Anchia; Brown, Betty (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which HB 1848 was transferred to the House General Calendars Committee.  The chairman explained HB 1848 was laid on the table subject to call on April 27, 2007 and was not eligible for action by the committee.

 

The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Patrick moved that the following measure be transferred over to the House General Calendars Committee: SB 1253.
