Pursuant to permission to meet during reading and referral of bills and notice posted on March 30, 2007, the House Committee on Local & Consent Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Howard, Charlie, at 4:49 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Howard, Charlie; Bohac; Allen, Alma; Brown, Betty; Lucio III; Patrick (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Anchia; Brown, Fred; Laubenberg; Parker; Straus (5).

 

A quorum was present.

Representative Brown, Betty moved that the floor amendments to HB968, HB1045 and HB1449 offered by Representative Howard, Charlie be approved to be offered during consideration of the Local, Consent, and Resolutions Calendar for Thursday, April 5, 2007.  The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Patrick moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB1077.

 

The motion prevailed without objection.

Representative Lucio III moved that the following measures be transferred over to the House General Calendars Committee:  HB591, HB1126, HB1166, HB1331, HB1670, HB1787, HB2068, HB2272, HB2359, HB2415.

 

The motion prevailed without objection.

 

Representative Brown, Betty moved that the following measures not be placed on the calendar at this time:  HB413, HB873.

 

The motion prevailed without objection.

The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
