Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 17, 2007, the House Committee on Judiciary met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hartnett, at 1:55 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Hartnett; Homer; Hopson; Goolsby; Krusee (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Alonzo; Cook, Robby; Gonzales; Hughes (4).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 12, 2007 minutes for the House Committee on Judiciary be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 1:59 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
