Pursuant to a notice posted on February 14, 2007, the House Committee on Insurance met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at 1:04 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Smithee; Smith, Todd; Hancock; Martinez, "Mando"; Vo (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Taylor; Eiland; Thompson; Woolley (4).

 

A quorum was present.

At 1:54 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until  the adjournment of the House, February 19, 2007.

 

In accordance with the motion on the house floor and subsequent approval to allow the committee to meet during reading and referral of bills, the committee reconvened at 6:39 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Smithee; Smith, Todd; Taylor; Eiland; Hancock; Woolley (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Martinez, "Mando"; Thompson; Vo (3).

 

A quorum was present.
