Pursuant to a notice posted on November 19, 2008, the House Committee on Hurricane Ike Devastation, Select met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, at 10:15 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Turner; Davis, John; Deshotel; Hamilton; Schwartz, A. R. "Babe"; Smith, Wayne; Taylor (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Allen, Alma; Bonnen; Crabb; Dutton; Eiland; Harless; Olivo; Riddle (8).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 5:50 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
