Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 15, 2007, the House Committee on Human Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Rose, at 5:18 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Rose; King, Susan; Eissler; Herrero; Hughes; Naishtat; Parker; Pierson (8).

 

Absent:               Representative Davis, John (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

SB 805

 

The chair laid out SB 805.

 

Representative Rose offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Rose moved that SB 805, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                              Representatives Rose; King, Susan; Eissler; Herrero; Hughes; Naishtat; Pierson (7).

 

Nays:                              Representative Parker (1).

 

Present, Not Voting:       None  (0).

 

Absent:                           Representative Davis, John  (1).

 

At 5:20 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
