Pursuant to a notice posted on March 19, 2007, the House Committee on Human Services met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Rose, at 7:34 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Rose; King, Susan; Davis, John; Eissler; Herrero; Hughes; Naishtat; Parker; Pierson (9).

 

Absent:              None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 109.

 

Representative Davis, John offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The chair recognized Representative Davis, John to explain the measure.

 

The chair recognized Representative Davis, John to close on the measure.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Davis, John moved that HB 109, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
