Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 4, 2007, the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal Relations met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Corte, Frank, at 11:57 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Corte, Frank; Escobar; Noriega, Rick; Garcia; Herrero; Hodge; Merritt (7).

 

Absent:              Representatives Moreno, Paul; Raymond (2).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out SB903, the companion to HB2102.

 

Representative Escobar offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Escobar moved to reconsider the vote by which the committee substitute was adopted.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without objection.

 

The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.

 

At 12:09 p.m., on the motion of Representative Escobar and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
