Pursuant to a notice posted on March 8, 2007, the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal Relations met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Corte, Frank, at 8:17 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Corte, Frank; Escobar; Noriega, Rick; Garcia; Hodge; Merritt; Moreno, Paul; Raymond (8).

 

Absent:              Representative Herrero (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 6, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Defense Affairs & State-Federal Relations be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.
