Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 20, 2007, the House Committee on Higher Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Morrison, at 11:56 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Morrison; McCall; Brown, Fred; Alonzo; Aycock; Giddings; Howard, Donna; Patrick; Rose (9).

 

Absent:              None (0).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the February 26, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Higher Education be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

The chair directed that the March 5, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Higher Education be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

At 11:58 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
