Pursuant to a notice posted on January 8, 2008, the House Committee on Government Reform met in a public hearing, with the House Committee on Pensions and Investments, and was called to order by the chair, Representative Callegari, at 9:24 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Callegari; Berman; Miles; Smith, Wayne (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Pitts; Leibowitz; Rodriguez (3).

 

A quorum was present.

Testimony was taken (see attached witness list) on the interim charge to evaluate and make recommendations, if necessary, regarding state contracts with pharmacy benefit managers. Assess the feasibility of combining prescription drug programs of state health insurance programs. All recommendations should take into consideration any budgetary impacts (Joint Interim Charge with the House Committee on Pensions and Investments).

 

At 3:40 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
