Pursuant to a notice posted on January 3, 2008, the House Committee on Financial Institutions met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 9:41 a.m.

A quorum was present.

At 11:52 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 12:07 p.m., January 23, 2008.

 

The committee reconvened at 12:31 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons. The roll was answered as follows:
