Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and being granted permission to meet while the House was in session on April 27, 2007, the House Committee on Financial Institutions met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 3:26 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Solomons; Flynn; Anderson; McCall; Orr (5).

 

Absent:              Representatives Chavez; Anchia (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

HB 345

 

The chair laid out HB 345 as pending business.

 

Representative Flynn offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Anderson moved that HB 345, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Solomons; Flynn; Anderson; McCall; Orr (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Chavez; Anchia  (2).

 

At 3:26 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
