Pursuant to a notice posted on April 10, 2007, and a suspension of the five-day posting rule on April 13, 2007 to allow the committee to meet earlier than the original posted meeting time at 10:00 a.m. on April 16, 2007, the House Committee on Financial Institutions met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at 10:10 a.m.
