Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 18, 2007, the House Committee on Environmental Regulation met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Bonnen, at 3:37 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the April 3, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Environmental Regulation be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

The chair laid out HB 2293 as pending business.

 

Representative Hancock offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Hancock moved that HB 2293, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
