Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 16, 2007, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at 12:18 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Present:              Representatives Hardcastle; Farabee; Corte; Crabb; Gonzalez Toureilles (5).

Absent:              Representatives Crownover; Chisum (2).

A quorum was present.

 

SB 1574

 

The chair laid out SB 1574 as pending business.

Representative Hardcastle offered a complete committee substitute.

(Representative Crownover now present.)

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Corte moved that SB 1574, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Hardcastle; Farabee; Crownover; Corte; Crabb; Gonzalez Toureilles (6).

Nays:                             None (0).

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

Absent:                          Representative Chisum  (1).

 

At 12:21 p.m., on the motion of Representative Corte and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
