Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2007, the House Committee on Energy Resources met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at 12:14 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Present:              Representatives Hardcastle; Farabee; Crownover; Corte; Gonzalez Toureilles (5).

Absent:              Representatives Chisum; Crabb (2).

A quorum was present.

 

SB 1670

 

The chair laid out SB 1670 as pending business.

Representative Hardcastle offered a complete committee substitute.

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Farabee moved that SB 1670, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Hardcastle; Farabee; Crownover; Corte; Gonzalez Toureilles (5).

Nays:                             None (0).

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

Absent:                          Representatives Chisum; Crabb  (2).

The chair laid out SB 742.

 

Representative Corte moved that SB 742, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Hardcastle; Farabee; Crownover; Corte; Gonzalez Toureilles (5).

Nays:                             None (0).

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

Absent:                          Representatives Chisum; Crabb  (2).
