Pursuant to a notice posted on February 14, 2008, and a revision posted on February 19, 2008, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Berman, at 1:05 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Berman; Bohac; Farias (3).

 

Absent:              Representatives England; Anchia; Burnam; Howard, Charlie (4).

 

A quorum was not present.  After discussion between the members of the committee it was decided to, out of respect to both the witnesses and members that traveled long distances to participate in today's hearing, continue on as planned.

 

The Chair laid out Interim Charge 6.
