Pursuant to a notice posted on January 14, 2008, the House Committee on Elections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Berman, at 10:05 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Berman; Bohac; England; Anchia; Burnam; Farias (6).

 

Absent:              Representative Howard, Charlie (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Chair laid out the interim charge as assigned by the Speaker of the House during the welcoming statement.
