Pursuant to a notice posted on February 6, 2007, the House Committee on Economic Development met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Deshotel, at 1:03 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Deshotel; Straus; Kolkhorst; Ortiz, Jr. (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Dunnam; Morrison; Veasey (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Chairman made opening remarks and introduced the staff.
