On March 14, 2007, pursuant to an announcement from the house floor and permission to meet while the House is in session during reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Criminal Jurisprudence met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Pena, at 1:44 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Moreno, Paul; Talton (2).

Representative Pena moved that HB 1779, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
