CORRECTED MINUTES

 

 

On March 27, 2007, the House Committee on County Affairs authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the House Committee on County Affairs held on March 14, 2007. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting:

 

Pursuant to a notice posted on March 9, 2007, the House Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smith, Wayne, at 2:11 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Smith, Wayne; Farabee; Harless; Heflin; Leibowitz; Smith, Todd (6).

 

Absent:              Representatives Naishtat; Bolton; Coleman (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the February 21, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on County Affairs be corrected.

 

The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

HB 673

 

The chair laid out HB 673 as pending business.

 

Representative Smith, Wayne moved that HB 673, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
