Pursuant to a notice posted on March 7, 2007, and a revised notice posted on March 7, 2007, the House Committee on Corrections met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Madden, at 10:06 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Madden; McReynolds; Haggerty; Jones, Delwin (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Hochberg; Dunnam; Oliveira (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The chair directed that the March 5, 2007, minutes for the House Committee on Corrections be corrected. The corrected minutes were authorized without objection.

 

The chair named the following members to the subcommittee on Special Populations:  Representative Haggerty, Chair; Representatives Jones, Delwin and McReynolds.
