Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 24, 2007, the House Committee on Civil Practices met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Cook, Byron, at 12:11 p.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Cook, Byron; Strama; Madden; Martinez Fischer; Miller; Raymond; Talton; Woolley (8).

 

Absent:              Representative King, Phil (1).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Chairman Cook directed the committee staff to correct the minutes from the April 18, 2007 meeting.  There being no objection, it was so ordered.

 

At 12:12 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
