Pursuant to a notice posted on May 9, 2007, a suspension of the five day posting rule on May 10, 2007, a revised posting on May 14, 2007, and being granted permission to meet while the House is in session pending receipt of Senate messages and reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on Border and International Affairs met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative King, Tracy, at 6:44 p.m.

Representative Pickett moved that SB 822, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:
