Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule and an announcement made from the floor on February 5, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Isett, Carl, at 8:05 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Isett, Carl; Noriega, Rick; Brown, Betty; Chavez (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Crownover; Harper-Brown (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:30 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., February 6, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:37 p.m. and was called to order by Representative Noriega, Rick. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Noriega, Rick; Brown, Betty; Crownover; Harper-Brown (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Isett, Carl; Chavez (2).

 

A quorum was present.
