Pursuant to a notice posted on February 2, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Criminal Justice met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner, at 8:06 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

Absent:              Representatives Van Arsdale; England (2).

 

A quorum was present.

At 9:47 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 30 minutes after adjournment.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:00 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Turner. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Turner; Van Arsdale; England; McReynolds; Riddle (5).

 

Absent:              Representative Allen, Alma (1).

 

A quorum was present.

At 5:28 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 8:00 a.m., February 8, 2007.
