Pursuant to a notice posted on August 22, 2008, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education, Subcommittee on Education, held a joint public hearing with the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Health and Human Services to discuss interim charge 5 and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 10:11 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Kolkhorst; Crownover (2).

 

Absent:            Representatives Branch; Brown, Fred; McClendon; Otto (4).

 

(Representative Branch now present.)

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 4:17 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
