Pursuant to a notice posted on February 16, 2007, the House Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst, at 10:53 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Kolkhorst; Crownover; McClendon; Otto (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Branch; Brown, Fred (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

At 12:51 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 6:30 p.m., February 19, 2007.

 

The committee reconvened at 7:59 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Kolkhorst. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Kolkhorst; Crownover; McClendon; Otto (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Branch; Brown, Fred (2).

 

A quorum was present.

 

(Representative Branch now present.)

 

At 10:13 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned until the adjournment of the House on February 20, 2007.
