Pursuant to a notice posted on June 12, 2008, the House Committee on Appropriations, Subcommittee on Transportation Issues, met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown, at 9:20 a.m.

 

Present:           Representatives Harper-Brown; Chavez; Kolkhorst; McClendon (4).

 

Absent:            Representatives Gattis; Noriega, Rick; Turner (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 12:10 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was recessed until 12:40 p.m., June 17, 2008.

 

The committee reconvened at 1:02 p.m. and was called to order by the chair, Representative Harper-Brown. The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Harper-Brown; Kolkhorst; McClendon (3).

 

Absent:              Representatives Chavez; Ga ttis; Noriega, Rick; Turner (4).

At 3:55 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
