Pursuant to a notice posted on June 10, 2008, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a public hearing and was called to order by the chair, Representative Miller, at 10:01 a.m.

 

The roll was answered as follows:

 

Present:              Representatives Miller; Anderson; Brown, Betty; Aycock (4).

 

Absent:              Representatives Gallego; Garcia; Heflin (3).

 

A quorum was present.

 

The Chair laid out Interim Charges #2 and #3 before the committee.

 

(Representative Gallego now present.)

 

(Representative Heflin now present.)

 

Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

 

At 3:02 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection, the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
