Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 23, 2007, the House Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative Miller, at 12:01 p.m.

Absent:              Representatives Brown, Betty; Gallego (2).

 

A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 2542 as pending business.

 

Representative Anderson offered a complete committee substitute.

 

The committee substitute was adopted without objection.

 

Representative Anderson moved that HB 2542, as substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the following record vote:

 

Ayes:                             Representatives Miller; Anderson; Aycock; Garcia; Heflin (5).

 

Nays:                             None (0).

 

Present, Not Voting:     None  (0).

 

Absent:                          Representatives Brown, Betty; Gallego  (2).

The chair laid out HB 2543 as pending business.

 

Representative Anderson offered a complete committee substitute.
