R E S O L U T I O N
|
|
|
WHEREAS, After nine years of dedicated service, Johnie |
|
|
Herbert is concluding his final term on the Weatherford City |
|
|
Council in 2007; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, Mr. Herbert has consistently devoted his talent and |
|
|
energy to creating a brighter future for the citizens of |
|
|
Weatherford, fashioning an enduring legacy of public service that |
|
|
is a credit to his office; and |
|
|
WHEREAS, His hard work in behalf of his fellow Texans is truly |
|
|
commendable, and it is indeed a pleasure to pay tribute to this |
|
|
distinguished community leader at this time; now, therefore, be it |
|
|
RESOLVED, That the House of Representatives of the 80th Texas |
|
|
Legislature hereby honor Johnie Herbert for his outstanding service |
|
|
to the Weatherford City Council and extend to him sincere best |
|
|
wishes for continued success and happiness; and, be it further |
|
|
RESOLVED, That an official copy of this resolution be |
|
|
prepared for Mr. Herbert as an expression of high regard by the |
|
|
Texas House of Representatives. |
