the following state agencies:

Texas Department of Insurance
Office of Public Insurance Counsel

The commitee will consider the following:

HCR 59            Eiland
Opposing the State Modernization and Regulatory Transparency
(SMART) Act and any similar federal legislation that would
interfere with the ability of state governments to regulate the
business of insurance.

Public testimony will be taken on HCR 59.
