         Pursuant to a notice posted on March 21, 2006, the House  
         Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 9:14  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:    Representatives Phillips; Hamric; Callegari; Casteel;  
                    Hill; West, George "Buddy" (6).

         At 10:00 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 10:30 a.m., or upon adjournment  
         of the House of Representatives, April 18, 2006. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 11:01 a.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Krusee. The roll was answered as  
         follows:

         Absent:    Representatives Phillips; Hamric; Casteel; Flores;
