Pursuant to a notice posted on February 3, 2005, the House
Committee on Transportation met in a public hearing and was
called to order by the chair, Representative Krusee, at 8:07
a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:
Present: Representatives Krusee; Phillips; Callegari; Casteel;
Deshotel; Flores; Hill; West, George "Buddy" (8).
Absent: Representative Hamric (1).
A quorum was present.

The chair laid out HB 160.
The chair recognized Representative McCall to explain the
measure.
Representative Phillips offered a complete committee substitute.
The chair recognized Representative McCall to explain the
substitute.
Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)
The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection.
The bill was left pending without objection.

The Committee heard testimony from the Texas Transportation
Commission and the River of Trade Corridor Coalition. (See
attached witness list.)
At 9:58 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was recessed until 10:30 a.m., or final adjournment
of the House February 8, 2005.
The committee reconvened at 12:10 p.m. and was called to order
by the chair, Representative Krusee. The roll was answered as
follows:
Present: Representatives Krusee; Callegari; Deshotel; Hill;
West, George "Buddy" (5).
Absent: Representatives Phillips; Hamric; Casteel; Flores
(4).
A quorum was present.

At 2:07 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,
the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
