Pursuant to a notice posted on April 1, 2005, the House
Committee on Insurance, Subcommittee on Life and Health
Insurance, met in a public hearing and was called to order by
the chair, Representative Seaman, at 1:25 p.m.
Present: Representatives Seaman; Taylor (2).
Absent: Representative Thompson (1).
A quorum was present.
HB 2674
The chair laid out HB 2674.The chair recognized Representative
Hupp to explain the measure.
Testimony was taken. (See attached witness list.)The chair
recognized Representative Hupp to close on the measure.
Representative Seaman moved that HB 2674, without amendments, be
reported favorably to the full committee for consideration. The
motion prevailed without objection.
HB 2570, HB 949
The chair laid out HB 2570 and HB 949. The chair recognized
Representative Eiland to explain the measures. Testimony was
taken. (See attached witness list.)(Representative Taylor in
chair.) (Representative Seaman in chair.)
Rep. Seaman moved that HB 2570 and HB 949, without amendments,
be reported favorably to the full committee for consideration.
The motion prevailed without objection.

The chair laid out HB 1571. The chair recognized Representative
Taylor to explain the measure. Testimony was taken. (See
attached witness list.) The chair recognized Representative
Taylor to close on the measure.

be reported favorably to the full committee for consideration.

The chair laid out HB888. The chair recognized Representative
Seaman to explain the measure. Representative Taylor offered a
complete committee substitute. Testimony was taken. (See

Seaman to close on the measure. The committee substitute was
withdrawn without objection. Representative Taylor moved that
HB 888, without amendments, be reported favorably to the full
committee for consideration. The motion prevailed without
