         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on March 29,  
         2005, the House Committee on Insurance met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Smithee, at  
         2:59 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Smithee; Seaman; Oliveira; Taylor;  
                    Thompson; Van Arsdale (6). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Isett; Eiland; Keffer, Bill (3). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         SB 88 
          
         The chair laid out SB 88.  The chair recognized Representative  
         Taylor to explain the measure.  
          
         Representative Thompson moved that SB 88, without amendments, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the Committee on  
         Local and Consent Calendars.  
          
         The motion prevailed by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Smithee; Seaman; Eiland; Keffer,  
                         Bill; Oliveira; Taylor; Thompson; Van Arsdale  
                         (8). 
          
         Nays:           None (0).
