         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 3, 2005,  
         the House Committee on Human Services met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Hupp, at  
         7:17 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         The chair laid out HB 1756 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Gonzalez Toureilles offered a complete committee  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Gonzalez Toureilles moved that HB 1756, as  
         substituted, be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion  
         prevailed by the following record vote:
