                                 CORRECTED MINUTES 
                                           
         On April 4, 2005, the House Committee on Financial Institutions  
         authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the  
         House Committee on Financial Institutions held on February 28,  
         2005. The following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 23, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Financial Institutions met in a public hearing and  
         was called to order by the chair, Representative Solomons, at  
         2:13 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Solomons; McCall; Flynn; Orr; Riddle  
                    (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Guillen; Chavez (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 1088 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1088. 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Thompson to explain the  
         measure.  
          
         Representative Riddle offered an amendment to the measure.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.) 
          
         (Representative Chavez now present.) 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Thompson to close on the  
         measure.  
          
         The amendment was withdrawn without objection. 
          
         The bill was left pending without objection.  
          
         HB 1049, HJR 43 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1049 and HJR 43. 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Flynn to explain the  
         measures.  
          
         Testimony was taken.  (See attached witness list.)

         (Representative Chavez in chair.) 
          
         (Representative Solomons in chair.) 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Flynn to close on the  
         measures.  
          
         The bills were left pending without objection.  
          
         At 3:16 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was adjourned subject to the call of the chair.
