         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 25,  
         2005, the House Committee on Elections met in a formal meeting  
         and was called to order by the chair, Representative Denny, at  
         7:00 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

                    (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Anchia; Anderson; Jones, Jesse (3). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 963 
          
         The chair laid out HB 963 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Bohac offered a complete committee substitute.

         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         Representative Bohac moved that HB 963, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the  
         following record vote:

         The chair recognized Representative Bohac to explain the  
         substitute.  
          
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection.
