Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on May 9, 2005,
the House Committee on County Affairs met in a formal meeting
and was called to order by the chair, Representative Allen, Ray,
at 10:00 a.m.
The roll was answered as follows:

A quorum was present.
The chair directed that the April 27, 2005, minutes for the
House Committee on County Affairs be corrected. The corrected
minutes were authorized without objection.

amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the
