         On April 27, 2005, the House Committee on County Affairs  
         authorized the correction of the  minutes for the meeting of the  
         House Committee on County Affairs held on April 6, 2005. The  
         following are the corrected minutes for that meeting: 
          
         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 1, 2005, the House  
         Committee on County Affairs met in a public hearing and was  
         called to order by the chair, Representative Allen, Ray, at 8:12  
         a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Allen, Ray; Smith, Wayne; Casteel;  
                    Laney; Otto (5). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Coleman; Farabee; Naishtat; Olivo  
                    (4). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         HB 3150 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1650, HB 1651, HB 1652, HB 1454, HB 1722,  
         HB 1519, HB 3150.

         The chair laid out HB 1444. 
          
         The chair recognized Representative Berman to explain the  
         measure.

         measure.  
          
         Representative Smith, Wayne moved that HB 1444, without  
          amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed and be sent to the  
         Committee on Local and Consent Calendars. The motion prevailed  
         by the following record vote:

                         Casteel; Laney; Naishtat; Olivo; Otto (7). 
          
         Nays:           None (0).
