         Pursuant to an announcement from the house floor on April 29,  
         2005, and a suspension of the House Rules for permission to meet  
         during the reading and referral of bills, the House Committee on  
         Calendars met in a formal meeting and was called to order by the  
         acting chair, Representative Seaman at 12:43 p.m.
