         Pursuant to a notice posted on February 11, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on General Government met in a  
         formal meeting and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Chisum, at 8:06 a.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Chisum; Berman; Hamric; Pickett (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representative Menendez (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 9:58 a.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until adjournment of the house.  
          
         The committee reconvened at 11:44 a.m. and was called to order  
         by the chair, Representative Chisum. The roll was answered as  
         follows: 
          
         Present:   Representatives Chisum; Berman; Menendez (3). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Hamric; Pickett (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 2:42 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed for ten minutes.
