         Pursuant to a suspension of the 5-day posting rule and an  
         announcement from the house floor on February 3, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Criminal Justice met in a  
         public hearing and was called to order by the chair,  
         Representative Turner, at 9:00 a.m.
