         Committee on Appropriations-S/C on Education met in a formal  
         meeting and was called to order by the chair, Representative  
         Kolkhorst, at 11:27 a.m.

         Absent:    Representative McClendon (1). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         At 12:21 p.m., on the motion of the chair and without objection,  
         the meeting was recessed until 1:30 p.m., February 21, 2005. 
          
         The committee reconvened at 1:44 p.m. and was called to order by  
         the chair, Representative Kolkhorst. The roll was answered as  
         follows:

                    Todd (4). 
          
         Absent:    Representatives Branch; Crownover (2). 
          
         A quorum was present.

         the meeting was adjourned until the adjournment of the
