         Pursuant to a notice posted on April 19, 2005, the House  
         Committee on Agriculture & Livestock met in a formal meeting and  
         was called to order by the chair, Representative Hardcastle, at  
         12:08 p.m. 
          
         The roll was answered as follows:

         Absent:    Representatives Farrar; Olivo (2). 
          
         A quorum was present. 
          
         HB 3275 
          
         The chair laid out HB 3275 as pending business.  
          
         Representative Brown, Betty moved that HB 3275, without  
         amendments, be reported favorably to the full house with the  
         recommendation that it do pass and be printed. The motion  
         prevailed by the following record vote:  
          
         Ayes:           Representatives Hardcastle; Anderson; Brown,  
                         Betty; Herrero (4). 
         Nays:           None (0). 
         Present, Not Voting:     Representative Burnam  (1). 
         Absent:         Representatives Farrar; Olivo  (2). 
          
         HB 1767 
          
         The chair laid out HB 1767 as pending business.  
         The chair moved to reconsider the vote by which the substitute  
         was adopted.  The motion to reconsider prevailed without  
         objection. 
         The committee substitute was withdrawn without objection. 
         Representative Herrero offered a complete committee substitute.  
         The committee substitute was adopted without objection. 
          
         HB 1767 continued 
          
         Representative Herrero moved that HB 1767, as substituted, be  
         reported favorably to the full house with the recommendation  
         that it do pass and be printed. The motion prevailed by the
